In project management, we carry out a group of tasks with a defined set of skills, capabilities, and philosophy acquired over a set period, while developing a finished product for the projects sponsors and stakeholders. Then there are definitive aspects about how the project will affect the environment, especially concerning civil, legislative, contractual, corrective, and fiscal standpoints of the project. Evaluation of the project also needs to be contemplated, especially when involved with the technological environment. Assessing prediction characteristics and evaluating the market, play an important part of the project research. Premature project closure without successful completion can be the result of inconsistent evaluation and inconclusive research of the actual project. With this angle, it is possible that unsuccessful project implementation could result, allowing the project managers to contemplate procedures that were missed. â€Å"In this respect, the research is often criticized for being underdevel oped and not founded on solid theoretical and conceptual groundwork† (Ika, 2009, pg. 7). Within each project is an integration of affects that are interconnected with project management. Stereotypes seem to be very present in our country, especially stereotypes towards African-Americans. For the longest time, like it has been instilled as a fact in my brain, black people have been directly related to the words â€Å"ghetto† or â€Å"hood†. I don’t remember a time where I actually can remember the words â€Å"ghetto† or â€Å"hood† without the picture in my mind of an African-American person. I think that this is a big problem in today’s society because it is not true but still seems to be taught. In politics, society, and everyday life, it feels like African-American’s are being slammed for being hoodlums. This is a problem because there are millions of African-American people who do not fit this stereotype, but still get degraded and treated badly because of this age old belief. In the city I was born and raised in, Omaha, Nebraska, there are about a million people, including the suburbs. Since it’s a pretty go od size, there are parts or sections of Omaha and they’re all known for certain things. I have lived all over the city, but fortunately for me, mostly the good parts. Growing up here, I was taught that North Omaha was all ghetto black people, South Omaha was all poor Mexican people, West Omaha was rich white people, and East Omaha was downtown where all of the skyscrapers and buildings were. Hamlets Problem Essay In the play Hamlet, Hamlet is described as daring, brave, loyal, and intelligent, but he is consumed by his own thoughts. Hamlets inability to act on his fathers murder, his mothers marriage, and his uncle assuming of the thrown are all evidence that Hamlet doesnt know what is going on in his own life. Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder, demands the ghost in (Act I, Scene 5, line 23). The fact that his own uncle could kill his father leaves Hamlet crazy and confused. Although Hamlet knows something is wrong in Denmark, he begins to question everything that the ghost has told him. When something is needed to be done, Hamlet is to busy thinking about his problems. An example of this is when Hamlet has his knife over the head of Claudius, and is prepared to murder him. He talks himself out of it. Instead, Hamlet writes a play in which the actors play out the same story that the ghost told Hamlet. His plan is to study Claudiuss reaction to the play to determine his guilt. Even after Hamlet decides his uncle is guilty, he doesnt do anything.This would have been a great time to confront Claudius, but Hamlet seems more interested in taking credit for what he did instead of seeking revenge. Throughout the play Hamlet is deeply hurt by his mothers decision to remarry his uncle. As Hamlet says, Frailty thy name is woman, her actions cause Hamlet to curse women all together (Act 1, Scene 2, Line 146). In the first Act, Claudius and Gertrude question Hamlets depression. They push Hamlet to accept his fathers death and move on with his life. While Hamlet should admit his hatred of their marriage, he hides his feeling. While Hamlet is holding back his feelings, he becomes more angered at their attempts to calm him. Gertrude is also aware of Hamlets feelings for Ophelia and uses this as an excuse for Hamlets actions. Hamlet has plenty of time to confess the cause of his madness. Unfortunately, Hamlet allows his mother to think he is madly in love rather than tell the truth. After Hamlet delivers his play and sees guilt in his uncle, Gertrude sends for Hamlet. Instead of hurting his mother, he insists on her to tell him the truth. If Hamlet wouldnt have taken so long, her confe ssion could have taken place earlier in the play. This could save him from a great deal of pain and leave his thoughts for other problems. Hamlets biggest obstacle in getting even with his fathers murder is Claudius being crowned king. With Claudius being in such a powerful position, Hamlet has to be careful with what he does. Hamlet not only has to kill his fathers murderer, but the king as well. The church was against the wedding from the start and would side with Hamlet. Instead of Hamlet disapproving his mothers wedding and the crowning of his uncle, he was silent.During the play, Claudius yells, â€Å"Give me some light. Away† and Hamlet was sure of his uncles guilt (Act III, Scene 2, Line 152). This was the perfect time for Hamlet to face Claudius. The king was in a venerable state and could have been easily dethroned. Unfortunately, Hamlet decides to speak to his mother instead, thus putting Hamlet in an emotional state of mind and giving Claudius time to re-think his options. Although Hamlet seemed to be superior in all other characteristics, his one flaw cost him his life.Without doubt, it cost the lives of many others as well. If Hamlet could have taken immediate action, many deaths could have been avoided. Although Hamlet succeeds in his quest for revenge, his procrastination proves to be his flaw in every event.

King Lear 2 In a writing of Shakespeare's play "King Lear", the main character is King Lear who starts off as a respected and powerful king. As the story progresses the king loses his power because of his own stupidity and blindness. The tragedy of this play is shown through the daughters of the king, the fool, and finally when Lear's sanity is tested. At the beginning of the play, King Lear is powerful and harsh. He decides he doesn't want to be king anymore, and so he asks his daughters, Reagan, Goneril, and Cordelia to tell him how much they love him. He does this so he may give them a dowry to be married with. First, Goneril begins to tell her father how much she adores him and would never disrespect him, this is a lie. Next, is the daughter Reagan, she does the same as her sister and lies to the king saying that she loves him with all of her heart. Finally, Cordelia tells her father that she could not tell him how much she loves him, because she had no words. The king was very upset with Co rdelia and because of his madness towards Cordelia thinking that she did not love him as much as her other sisters, he divided the land in two and gave Reagan and Goneril each half. Cordelia on the other hand received nothing as her dowry and in turn no none would marry her except the King of France. Giving the land to the two daughters was the first of Lear's mistakes, for the daughters did not love him as much as Cordelia did, but they wished to have his riches. When Goneril and Reagan are in power they try to make Lear appear to be incompetent. They refer to him as "The Idle Old Man" in front of everyone and start to make even Lear think less of himself. Although the two sisters do this they also realize that Lear still holds a great deal of power in their areas, so they decided something must be done about it. The "loving" daughters command Lear to let go fifty of his one hundred servicemen, saying that they will not pay for it and that it is unnecessary. Lear then starts to wor ry that if Goneril isn't happy then she in turn will make him unhappy and he agrees to let them go. Next, the fool is introduced. Shakespeare does this to show the deterioration of Lear that has taken place since the beginning of the play. The Fool is his name, however, he is a wise man. He is a tutor to Lear and tries to slow him down so that he will not lose his mind. However, in the process the fool makes subtle hints to Lear that he has made some bad decisions. These hints do not help Lear, they just provoke more thinking about what he might have done to himself by giving away his kingdom. After Lear leaves Gonerils castle, the former king travels to his other daughter, Reagan's castle. When he arrives there he discovers that Reagan and her husband have left. Little does he know that they had found out form Goneril that he was coming and they didn't want for him to stay at their castle. He later travels to Gloucester castle and learns there that Reagan and Goneril are not fighti ng as they led him to believe. This makes Lear very upset, and Reagan orders him to be kicked out of the castle. Outside of the castle there is a very bad thunder storm, this makes Lear believe that the elements have joined forces with his daughters to try and defeat him. He begins to yell at the storm in a fit a of anger. From this scene it is quite apparent that Lear had nearly lost his mind. In conclusion, the reader is shown how Lear went from being a respected and powerful king to a regular man who seems to have lost all of his family. The two people that he trusted most were the same people, that in the end were the cause of his down fall. And the people he
